Getting there...

The venue is the field next to the river at the end of Mapledurham Drive, Purley on Thames, RG8 8BD.

Pedestrian access is via Mapledurham Drive, which is paved all the way to the field. There are a couple of cattle grids, but they will be covered to accommodate wheelchair access.

The field itself may be soft and soggy if there has been too much rain in the days preceding the event so wheelchair users should use their discretion when attending
The easiest option is to arrive on foot, but those of you that are coming from further away might like to cycle or take the bus. Reading Buses Route 16 comes right into Purley, with stops on New Hill and Colyton Way. Other services stop on the A329 at the top of New Hill.

We urge you not to arrive by car as dedicated parking will not be available this year!
If you do come by car, please spare a thought for the residents of Purley who still need to be able to go about their business as does the local bus service and emergency vehicles. Therefore please do not block drives or park on or very near to junctions.
Please park considerately following the signs up around the village and refrain from parking in local residential roads unless they are designated for parking as the buses need to complete their routes around the village. You might want to check out www.justpark.com to see if there are any driveways you can rent to park on.

Disabled Parking
Disabled access to the site is via Mapledurham Drive. A limited amount of Blue badge holders that need to drive and park close to the event can be accommodated. Please email us on askfops@gmail.com for details.
We're a small group of local volunteers, so we don't have a postal address or phone number for public use, but we'd love to hear any questions, comments or suggestions about the event or this website.
Please email askfops@gmail.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
